Overview:This position is responsible for providing the overall leadership for the development of the strategic direction and execution of all branded marketing, promotional activity and investment; manage all integrated marketing campaigns which could include grassroots events, event sponsorship, media advertising, online and direct mail relationship marketing efforts, in-store presence, expos, promotional agency and partner management; lead the marketing staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and professional development;
Requirements:Successful candidates must have at least ten years of demonstrated success managing an integrated marketing effort in consumer goods environment (footwear, apparel, sporting goods or accessories experience a definite plus); strong strategic capability combined with a hands-on, resourceful and collaborative work ethic; experience with major product launches and retailer initiatives; superior communicator and negotiator with excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office); the ability to travel up to 30%.
